Rocketbook

I heard about Rocketbook from Robby Miles. He is the Productivity and Platform Handyman.

I’ve been experimenting with it for about three weeks as of this writing. It has 36 pages and comes with an erasable FriXion pen from Pilot (0.7mm point).

I love that I can upload my notes easily to my online destinations (i.e. Google Drive, Evernote, Email, etc.) with the Rocketbook App. These can be in jpg or pdf format. Evernote will index pictures so I can search my handwriting for words. Pretty Cool!

When I need more pages, I just wipe the pages clean and start again.

A Word of Caution

If you don’t allow for dry time (15 seconds) you can get some smudging. Also, any liquid can affect the ink as well. Lastly, I have read that you should clean the pages within 30 days to get the best results and reduce the likelihood of shadowing.

I did switch to a four-color pen (fine point 0.5mm) from Pilot that I am loving. It is an erasable pen needed with Rocketbook. I’ll put the links below.

Tiny Habits – The Small Changes That Change Everything

Here is a book about creating lasting change through tiny habits. Written by BJ Fogg, Ph.D. it is based on the Fogg Behavior Model. This is a model he created at Stanford University. As of this writing, the book has not been released. However, I have been reading from his site and online videos, which I believe will be in the book. I find habit change or transformation an interesting subject.
